Lying is intentionally deceiving others. Bearing false witness is one form of lying. The Lord gave this commandment to the children of Israel: “Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour” (Exodus 20:16). Jesus also taught this when He was on earth (see Matthew 19:18). There are many other forms of lying. When we speak untruths, we are guilty of lying. We can also intentionally deceive others by a gesture or a look, by silence, or by telling only part of the truth. Whenever we lead people in any way to believe something that is not true, we are not being honest.
The Lord is not pleased with such dishonesty, and we will have to account for our lies. Satan would have us believe it is all right to lie. He says, “Yea, lie a little; … there is no harm in this” (2 Nephi 28:8). Satan encourages us to justify our lies to ourselves. Honest people will recognize Satan’s temptations and will speak the whole truth, even if it seems to be to their disadvantage.

Book of Abraham chapter 2
21 And I, Abraham, journeyed, going on still towards the south; and there was a continuation of a famine in the land; and I, Abraham, concluded to go down into Egypt, to sojourn there, for the famine became very grievous.
22 And it came to pass when I was come near to enter into Egypt, the Lord said unto me: Behold, Sarai, thy wife, is a very fair woman to look upon;
23 Therefore it shall come to pass, when the Egyptians shall see her, they will say—She is his wife; and they will kill you, but they will save her alive; therefore see that ye do on this wise:
25 And it came to pass that I, Abraham, told Sarai, my wife, all that the Lord had said unto me—Therefore say unto them, I pray thee, thou art my sister, that it may be well with me for thy sake, and my soul shall live because of thee.

Question: ... about that, God the Father was once a man as we were. This is something that Christian writers are always addressing. Is this the teaching of the church today, that God the Father was once a man like we are?
Hinckley: I don’t know that we teach it. I don’t know that we emphasize it. I haven’t heard it discussed for a long time in public discourse. I don’t know. I don’t know all the circumstances under which that statement was made. I understand the philosophical background behind it. But I don’t know a lot about it and I don’t know that others know a lot about it.

Question: "Don't Mormons believe that God was once a man?"
Hinckley: "I wouldn't say that. There was a little couplet coined, "As man is, God once was. As God is, man may become." Now that's more of a couplet than anything else."

(Mormon Doctrine )
From the definition in Gospel Principles God told Abraham to lie , Abraham said Sarah was half sister but was that even verifiable ? But the most important part of his relationship with Sarah was his wife, which would be concealment and maybe a half-truth .
Abraham 5:
7 And the Gods formed
man from the dust of the ground, and took his spirit (that is, the man’s
spirit), and put it into him; and breathed into his nostrils the breath of
life, and man became a living soul.
8 And the Gods planted
a garden, eastward in Eden, and there they put the man, whose spirit they had
put into the body which they had formed.
12 And the Gods
commanded the man, saying: Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat,
Notice in Abraham
chapter 4 and 5 we have the teaching there’s a plethora of gods, yet the Book
of Mormon and Book of Moses both Faux scriptures in Mormonism below says one God
1 Nephi 13: 41 And
they must come according to the words which shall be established by the mouth
of the Lamb; and the words of the Lamb shall be made known in the records of
thy seed, as well as in the records of the twelve apostles of the Lamb;
wherefore they both shall be established in one; for there is one God and one
Shepherd over all the earth.
Book of Moses 1:
6 And I have a work for thee, Moses, my son; and thou art in the
similitude of mine Only Begotten; and mine Only Begotten is and shall be the
Savior, for he is full of grace and truth; but there is no God beside me, and
all things are present with me, for I know them all.
Notice that ONE GOD
is three separate persons [ with in the nature of the ONE GOD ] “TRINITY”
2 Nephi 31:
21 And now, behold,
my beloved brethren, this is the way; and there is none other way nor name
given under heaven whereby man can be saved in the kingdom of God. And now,
behold, this is the doctrine of Christ, and the only and true doctrine of the
Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, which is one God, without end.
Amen.
Alma 11:
44 Now, this
restoration shall come to all, both old and young, both bond and free, both
male and female, both the wicked and the righteous; and even there shall not so
much as a hair of their heads be lost; but everything shall be restored to its
perfect frame, as it is now, or in the body, and shall be brought and be
arraigned before the bar of Christ the Son, and God the Father, and the Holy
Spirit, which is one Eternal God, to be judged according to their works,
whether they be good or whether they be evil.
Mormon 7:
7 And he hath brought
to pass the redemption of the world, whereby he that is found guiltless before
him at the judgment day hath it given unto him to dwell in the presence of God
in his kingdom, to sing ceaseless praises with the choirs above, unto the
Father, and unto the Son, and unto the Holy Ghost, which are one God, in a
state of happiness which hath no end.

COUNSEL GIVEN BY
PRESIDENT CHARLES W. PENROSE
Now, some of our
brethren have taken up quite a discussion as to the fulness of the everlasting
gospel. We are told that the Book of Mormon contains the fulness of the gospel,
that those who like to get up a dispute, say that the Book of Mormon does not contain
any reference to the work of salvation for the dead and that there are many
other things pertaining to the gospel that are not developed in that book, and
yet we are told that the book contains "the fulness of the everlasting
gospel." Well, what is the fulness of the gospel? You read carefully the
revelation in regard to the three glories, Section 76, in the Doctrine and
Covenants, and you find there defined what the gospel is. There God, the
Eternal Father, and Jesus Christ, his Son, and the Holy Ghost, are held up as
the three Persons in the Trinity—the one God, the Father, the Word, and the
Holy Ghost, all three being one God. When people believe in that doctrine and
obey the ordinances which are spoken of in the same list of principles, you get
the fulness of the gospel for this reason: If you really believe so as to have
faith in our Eternal Father and in his Son, Jesus Christ, the Redeemer, and
will hear him, you will learn ail about what is needed to be done for the
salvation of the living and redemption of the dead.
(General Conference
Report, April 1922, pp. 27-28.)
PRESIDENT CHARLES W.
PENROSE seems to know the Trinity is ONE GOD three separate persons as taught
in the Book of Mormon
One of the interesting things about the Abraham version with many gods involved in creation is the passage of the Bible that says God created it alone.
Isa. 44:24
Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer,
And He who formed you from the womb:
“I am the LORD, who makes all things,
Who stretches out the heavens all alone,
Who spreads abroad the earth by Myself;
Revelations 3:
14 “To the angel (divine messenger) of the church in Laodicea write:
“These are the words of the Amen, the trusted and faithful and true Witness, the Beginning and Origin of God’s creation: AMP
The word for origin there is ARCHE which we get our word architect from, so actually Jesus is the architect and creator .
It is interesting how bankrupt Mormonism is .
